Ingredient

Rolls & Beef

  • 1 pkg (12 oz) Hawaiian sweet rolls

  • 14 oz thinly sliced deli roast beef

  • ½ cup barbecue sauce

  • 6 slices sharp cheddar cheese

Butter Glaze

  • ¼ cup butter, cubed

  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar

  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 tsp prepared mustard

  • 1½ tsp dried minced onion or poppy seeds

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Directions

1. Assemble the Rolls Preheat oven to 350°F. Without separating the rolls, slice the entire package horizontally. Place the bottom half in a greased 11×7‑inch baking dish. In a bowl, combine the roast beef and barbecue sauce. Spread the mixture evenly over the rolls and top with cheddar cheese slices. Replace the top half of the rolls.

2. Make the Butter Glaze In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, dried minced onion or poppy seeds, and garlic powder. Cook and stir until the sugar dissolves. Drizzle the glaze evenly over the sandwiches.

3. Bake Cover and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 5–10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
