Free

Ingredient

Chicken

  • 2½ lbs whole chicken wings

Maple‑Chili Glaze

  • 1 cup maple syrup

  • ⅔ cup chili sauce

  • 2 Tbsp lime juice

  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard

Seasoned Flour

  • 1 cup all‑purpose flour

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp paprika

  • ¼ tsp pepper

For Frying

  • Oil for deep‑fat frying

Optional Garnish

  • Thinly sliced green onions

  • Lime wedges

Directions

1. Prep the Wings Cut the chicken wings into three sections; discard the wing tips.

2. Make the Maple‑Chili Sauce In a large saucepan, combine the maple syrup, chili sauce, lime juice, and Dijon mustard. Bring to a boil and cook until the mixture reduces to about 1 cup. Set aside.

3. Coat the Wings In a large shallow dish, mix the flour, salt, paprika, and pepper. Add the wings a few at a time and toss to coat evenly.

4. Fry Heat oil in an electric skillet or deep fryer to 375°F. Fry the wings in batches for 6–8 minutes, turning once, until no longer pink and fully cooked. Drain on paper towels.

5. Sauce & Serve Transfer the hot wings to a large bowl. Pour the reduced sauce over them and toss to coat. Serve immediately with green onions and lime wedges, if desired.
