Crispy Rangoon - Quick & Easy Recipe

Filling
3 oz cream cheese, softened
2 green onions, finely chopped
¼ cup finely chopped imitation crabmeat
1 tsp minced garlic
Wrappers & Frying
16 wonton wrappers
Oil for frying

Directions
1. Make the Filling Beat the cream cheese in a small bowl until smooth. Stir in the green onions, chopped imitation crab, and garlic.
2. Fill the Wontons Place about 1½ teaspoons of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Keep the remaining wrappers covered with a damp paper towel to prevent drying.
3. Seal Moisten the wrapper edges with water. Fold opposite corners over the filling and press firmly to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
4. Fry Heat 1 inch of oil in an electric skillet to 375°F. Fry the wontons in batches until golden brown, about 1 minute per side. Drain on paper towels.
5. Serve Enjoy warm with sweet‑and‑sour sauce.
