Italian Tortellini Alfredo with Grilled Chicken - Quick & Easy Recipe

Chicken

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (6 oz each)

1 Tbsp olive oil

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

Pasta & Sauce

1 pkg (9 oz) refrigerated cheese tortellini

1 jar (15 oz) Alfredo sauce, warmed

½ cup grated Asiago cheese


Direction

1. Prepare the Chicken Pound the chicken breasts with a meat mallet to a ½‑inch thickness. Brush with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

2. Grill the Chicken Place the chicken on an oiled grill rack. Grill, covered, over medium heat until a thermometer reads 165°, about 4–5 minutes per side.

3. Cook the Tortellini Meanwhile, cook the tortellini according to package directions. Preheat the broiler.

4. Broil the Alfredo Tortellini Drain the tortellini and toss with the hot Alfredo sauce. Transfer to a greased, broiler‑safe 9‑inch square baking dish; sprinkle with Asiago. Broil 3–4 inches from the heat until the top is golden brown, 2–3 minutes.

5. Serve Slice the grilled chicken and place it over the tortellini. Finish with additional Asiago if desired.
